Mary tutored my daughter for her French A level and was not only highly professional, kind, empathetic but incredibly calm and patient. My daughter’s confidence grew as did her scores in mocks through Mary’s help. The skills she taught were a tremendous help when it came to my daughter’s actual A level. She approached it with so much confidence which I have no doubt is due to the time and effort put in to her tutoring sessions. I would absolutely not hesitate to reccomend her to anyone looking for a language tutor. So much so we have asked her to tutor our youngest daughter for English.

Mary is a professional, warm and fantastic tutor. My children absolutely fell in love with her ranging from ages 11 down to my 4 year old autistic child. To begin I didn’t intend for Mary to tutor him as he has quite challenging behaviour, this didn’t not faze Mary and she would create activities and learning opportunities suitable for him and all the children. Mary provided invaluable advice to myself with my eldest through her SATS and Secondary School applications. She became a part of the family and even moved onto online lessons during the Covid outbreak. I would not only use her again, but would keep in contact with her for life!

Mary is lovely with me and as an autistic student, she always takes the time to explain things in a way I understand. Our classes are always so much fun and I look forward to them every week.

Mary was fantastic with both our sons, one of whom was going through their SATs. She has a warm and caring manner and we saw the confidence grow in our eldest who was quite reticent with English in primary school.

Mary is very warm-hearted, patient, and has good communication with my daughter. Mary encourages my daughter to read in detail and write daily. My daughter is interested in reading now. I highly recommend Mary to parents who want to help their children improve their English.

Mary has been tutoring my son for more than a year. From a 10 year old boy who was scared of maths, he became a boy who was helping other kids with their work. Mary has built his self-confidence and prepared him amazingly for his SATS. Mary was also tutoring my son in English. What I was struggling to teach him for the whole homeschooling, Mary was able to teach him in just two weeks. I don’t have enough words to describe how amazing teacher Mary is. I can recommend her in 200% for any cost. As well as being a brilliant tutor, Mary is a wonderful person. She found a way to get through my son and to make him like learning. We could always count on her with extra work, homework just simply be there to help my son with everything he needed. I just can’t thank her enough. Thank you Mary for being there for Oliwier.

Mary tutored me from the age of 11-16, seeing me through 2 key examination periods (SATs and GCSEs) and I honestly gained so much from her teaching. She tailored each an every lesson to me. Not just sticking to a standard lesson plan like in school. She allowed me to be honest and say what I needed help with and she would create a lesson specifically for that struggle. She came to every lesson with a positive attitude and helped me to emulate this in my study. She allowed me to grow in confidence and intellectual skill and I saw real improvement in my grades and marks due to her support giving me the motivation I needed to achieve highly.

Mary taught Maths and French to my daughter (year 4) and English to my son (year 2). I always struggled to get my kids to do homework, there was always lot of tantrums and moaning whenever I asked them to study. Since we introduced Mary, all this worry was taken off my shoulders. Mary is excellent at what she does, my kids always score maximum at spelling or maths tests. Also Mary speaks fluent French and as we spent many holiday in France this is so beneficial to my kids to learn some. Mary is very professional, punctual and simply, my kids love her.

Mary has given my daughter French tuition. She is very friendly and my daughter has a good contact with her. Reliable and trustworthy. Prepares the lessons well and provides a lot of material for them.
